Security Cameras

Security Cameras can be seen in many locations such as Airports, Shopping Malls, Town Centres and retail shops. Increasingly they are found in small to medium businesses and homes.

Their job is to reduce shop-lifting, to record acts of vandalism and deter potential criminals.

However another level of detection is now in a roll-out phase. This is known as "Video Verification". Imagine a burglar alarm connected to a monitoring station. A burglar activates the alarm and causes a small video clip to be sent to the monitoring station.

As the operator calls the owner, guard or Police, he can also verify that a crime is in progress.

The Police are more than willing to prioritize this event. Arrests are already taking place with "Video Verified" alarms.
